Check the company requirements before the team starts pricing or writing. Turnover, project references and the proposed team can determine whether the opportunity is worth pursuing.

A missing reference or an unmet turnover threshold needs attention before the team spends days preparing the response.

Make the first check count

Read the full pack and note:

Eligibility: turnover, experience, personnel, insurance and other stated requirements.
Evidence: the exact forms, certificates and signatures requested.
Dates: clarifications, site visits and submission closing time.
Evaluation: what is pass/fail and what carries marks.
Delivery: whether you have the people, supply chain and capacity if successful.

For every gap, decide whether it can be resolved in time. Raise necessary questions through the published clarification route.

Keep a company evidence file

Store current accounts, insurances, certifications, CVs and project references with named owners and review dates.

Keep project facts consistent across forms. Scope, dates, values, roles and client references should agree. Recheck an old answer against the question now being asked.

Where another company is contributing capacity or experience, read the competition’s requirements for that arrangement before relying on its documents.

Close the submission properly

Run the final check against the issued return list. Confirm signatures, appendices, current revisions and the actual files attached.

Allow time for the upload and save the submission receipt. A successful upload confirms delivery; it does not establish that the response meets the evaluation requirements.
