Website terms of use
These terms apply when you use projineer.com. They explain what the information on the site is for, what you may do with our content and how the enquiry form should be used.
Our consultancy services are provided under a separately agreed written scope and fee, and any terms for the Seamus HQ software are agreed separately, so neither is governed by this page.

Who runs this website
This website is run by Projineer Limited, a construction support and consultancy company based in Kinsale, Co. Cork, Ireland. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Projineer Limited, and “you” means anyone using the site.
If you have a question about these terms, email info@projineer.com or call 021 471 2019. You can also reach us through the contact page.
Using this website
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. If you use it on behalf of a business or other organisation, you accept these terms for that organisation as well.
If any part of the site is difficult to use, our accessibility statement explains what we have checked so far and how to tell us about a problem.
Information only, not professional advice
The content on this website is general information. Our resource articles give general guidance on Irish construction topics such as public tendering, the Construction Contracts Act 2013, BCAR, PSCS duties, ISO standards and handover files, but they cannot take account of your particular project.
Nothing on the site is legal, financial or other professional advice. What applies to you depends on your own competition documents, contract and appointments, so check those documents for the actual requirements and take professional advice on your situation before acting on anything you read here.
Legislation, standards and public guidance change over time, and an article may not reflect the latest position on the day you read it.
Our services are agreed in writing
Projineer provides services only under a separately agreed written scope and fee. The service descriptions on this website explain the kind of support we offer, but nothing on the site is an offer that you can accept to form a contract, and sending an enquiry does not create a contract between us.
We do not publish prices. Fees depend on what you need and are agreed in writing as part of the scope for each engagement. If you engage us, that written agreement governs the services, and where it differs from these terms, the written agreement takes priority.
Seamus HQ software
Seamus HQ is a separate software offer. These website terms do not give you any right to use it, and any agreement to use Seamus HQ, along with any setup, training or implementation support, is made separately. Our software page explains how Projineer and Seamus HQ relate to each other.
Images on this website
The images on this website that look like photographs were made for the site with an AI image generator. They do not show Projineer projects, clients or staff, so please do not read them as showing a project we have delivered or a business we have worked with.
Intellectual property
The text, page design, layout, graphics and images on this website are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights to the extent the law allows. Those rights belong to Projineer Limited or to the people who have licensed them to us.
You may view the site, print or download pages for your own reference and share them within your organisation, as long as you do not change them and you keep it clear that they come from projineer.com.
You must not copy, republish, sell or adapt our text, images or design for your own documents, website, marketing or software without our written permission. To ask for permission, email info@projineer.com.
Other organisations’ names and publications referred to on the site belong to their owners, and a reference to them does not mean they endorse us.
Acceptable use
Please use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not affect anyone else’s use of it. In particular, you must not:
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, the servers it runs on or any system connected to it;
- interfere with or disrupt the site, for example by flooding it with requests;
- introduce viruses, malware or any other harmful code;
- use robots, scrapers or other automated tools in a way that overloads the site, harms the service or gets around its security or spam protection;
- use the site to send anything unlawful, offensive or defamatory.
We may block access to the site for anyone who breaks these terms.
The enquiry form
The enquiry form is there for genuine enquiries about our services. You can attach up to five documents to an enquiry, 25 MB in total, as PDF, DWG, DXF, Word, Excel, CSV, JPG or PNG files. When you use the form, please:
- give accurate details, and only give someone else’s contact details if you have their permission;
- attach only drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, tender documents and similar files that you are entitled to share;
- do not send passwords or bank details;
- do not use it for bulk or automated submissions, unsolicited marketing or anything unlawful.
Attaching documents helps us understand your enquiry, but it does not mean we have agreed to price or carry out anything, because our services are agreed in writing as described above. Our privacy notice explains how we store attached documents and when we delete them.
The form uses spam protection and limits on repeated submissions, and it accepts only the file types listed above. We may block submissions that appear to be automated or abusive, and we may decline to respond to enquiries that break these terms.
Links to other websites
Some pages, especially the resource articles, link to websites run by other organisations, such as public bodies and standards organisations. Those links are there for your information. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or how they handle your information, and a link does not mean we endorse the website or the organisation behind it.
You are welcome to link to our website, provided you do so fairly and lawfully and do not suggest any connection with us, or approval from us, that does not exist.
Availability and security
We aim to keep the website available and its information accurate, but we cannot promise that the site, or any page on it, will always be available, uninterrupted, free of errors or up to date. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site without notice, for example for maintenance or to update content.
We cannot promise that the website is free from bugs or viruses, so please use your own up-to-date security software.
Our liability
We provide this website and its content as general information. To the extent permitted by Irish law, we do not give any promise, whether stated or implied, that the content is accurate, complete or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by Irish law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website, from being unable to use it, or from relying on anything on it, whether the claim is made in contract, in tort (including negligence), for breach of statutory duty or otherwise. That includes:
- loss of profits, revenue, contracts or anticipated savings;
- loss of a tender, bid or other business opportunity;
- loss of goodwill or reputation;
- business interruption;
- any indirect or consequential loss.
Where we provide services to you under a written agreement, our liability for those services is set by that agreement and not by these terms.
What these terms do not exclude
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Irish law.
If you use the site as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Privacy and cookies
When you send an enquiry or contact us, we use your personal information as explained in our privacy notice. Our cookie policy explains the cookies and similar storage the site uses and how to change your choice, and our data protection page explains your rights and how to use them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example when the website or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated, and the version on this page when you use the site is the one that applies, so please check it now and then.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from them or from your use of the website, including a dispute that is not about a contract, are governed by the laws of Ireland and will be dealt with by the courts of Ireland.
If a court decides that any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest of the terms will still apply.
